The Sony FX 30 Is a Great Microphone for Spoken Word

Darrion was using the road TF5 microphones which are extraordinarily good. The sound quality actually I was very impressed it's definitely one of if not the most natural sounding microphones for spoken word that I've tried. There's no kind of shock mount or deadening of rumbles and bumps and things as a condenser mic all that stuff gets picked up very loudly so you could probably hear some clunking and clicking during last week's podcast. Although audio technica does sell a matching shock mount and a matching boom arm which would be ideal together those add 65 pounds to the price which is already 150 quid.
