The average recession period is usually about 12 to 18 months once it begin so there is this expectation that we are probably in a recession currently. The theme that kept coming up, and they were really driving home, was that if you're a founder and you're running a business, you'd better have cash on hand. And the basis of this thesis is basically that the fete is a lagging indicator, if you will. They're basically not a proactive group of people. They're they're reactionary. So they're looking at the data, the economic data, not just the stock market.
