"I'm excited to explore the country of Thailand a lot more and the culture, but I'm also excited to have this new home base," he says. "The biggest thing you can do to settle in is to get Wi-Fi... it's very hard to feel comfortable in a place if you don't have good internet access." He adds that having an attitude of problem solving has helped him so far on his trip.
