The Importance of Encapsulation in Portability
Having the source code for a component decreases the risk by a factor of four, which I thought was a pretty interesting number. So it depends on defined risk is one thing. If this is an open source project where you can actually contribute and make changes to, then you're not going to make the change. You're at the mercy of when Microsoft has a release. Well, I'm making that in broads on how big the project is, right? That you're working with. The encapsulation does not translate to portability. Right.
