The Good Reasons to Believe in God

We want to believe Christianity because it's true. If God does exist, okay, you would expect it to be the case that what we long for most will indeed finally be satisfied. So if the only reason I believed in God is because I couldn't face the prospect that my deepest longings and desires were never going to be satisfied, yeah, I would agree with you that it's not a very rationally grounded belief. And Jerry, I think you and I agree that we shouldn't just believe in Christianity just because if it fills our deepest desires, right? We should. Well, of course not.
