Is It a Database Without Storage?
Intrino is an open source project that Starburst has built on. Called Treno, it's designed to query vast amounts of data across distributed data sources. Intrino supports no SQL databases like MongoDB or streaming systems like Kafka or Elasticsearch for Techsearch. The heavy lifting is actually happening in Treno or Starburst itself in memory and in a parallel fashion.
