The Effects of the Long and Short Rainfall Seasons on East Africa

This year has been an interesting one. There was a March April May season which actually I can say it failed because most of the parts of the region recorded below normal rainfall or depressed rainfall. And if that happens, what it means is that it affects agricultural productivity mainly crop farming. Then unfortunately during June July August, although it's not a major rainfall season over the region, but there are some few places that record rainfall. So that means that we have had two consecutive seasons recording rainfall failure. Following the failure of the two rainfall season, we are already witnessing dry conditions.
