Do We Still Need View Models?
We discussed a lot with compose is that like do we even still need view models? Like one of the major, major advantages of view models is that like taking easy to survive a context creation or your activity starts. That's a big advantage compared to the activity system. But if you're using compose, compose already knows that it needs to recompose is the configuration changes. So there's a good argument to turn off configuration change handling in your activity and let compose handle it. Do you still need the Android view model? And to be honest, this is still an open question for us. We are trying to find an answer. Yeah, I'll let Manuel add on that.
