The Effects of the R-R Genotype on Elite Level Boulderers

The R allele that codes for proteins in fast-twitch muscle fibers and it's the R-R genotype which is best associated with being an elite level sprinter so perhaps that also associates with becoming an elite level boulder. Among the group of 50 boulder specialists or elite level boulderers 62% of them had the R-r genotype, 30% of them the RX genotype and just 8% of those elite boulders had the XX genotype. What about the lead climbers? Well the lead climber specialists who are more endurance climbers you might say rather than strength power climbers 26%.
