The Atticorn of Domanwood
St. Cluwood apparently fought an Atticorn, which is a demonic nine legged, uh, evil twisting black, evil twisted version of the unicorn. The two basically fought to the death there and they both died. And so he was raised up, canonized, and a huge sprawling abbey was built on the place of their death. That became the source of the church's power within Domanwood itself. But over centuries and centuries and centuries, something happened in a catastrophe that laid the abbey to waste. No one has ever dared to enter or anyone who has dared to enter has never returned from the ruins themselves since.
