We're meeting on the Wheaton campus, which is a lot of fun for us to be back up here in the fall and to see the fall colors. It's really terrific. So how did you get started reading Greek? I

first started reading Greek when I was an undergraduate student at Anderson University in South Carolina under the instruction of Channing Chrysler, who's still the New Testament professor there. And it was really because of his instruction, the way that he taught Greek and New Testament that I ended up pursuing a PhD in New Testament myself. Sometimes

our professors can have a great influence on us. Yes. And he certainly did. So what happened with at the next level of graduate programs and PhD level, all that stuff? Yes, I went on to my

graduate work at Southern Seminary and did a lot of Greek classes there with Tom Shreiner, Peter Gentry, Jonathan Pennington, and then went straight into PhD here at Wheaton College with Doug Mu, where constantly using the Greek.
