The Positives of Regulation of the Technology Industry

On Tuesday, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, went to the Senate along with a woman who heads up privacy at IBM and an academic. And they were like, you know what? Artificial intelligence is good, but it's also very dangerous. Please, we need regulation. So that's kind of positive, though. I don't think you want an industry deciding what regulation looks like. That's probably not a good idea,. But it's good that they're seem open to it.
