Mustafa Sabri Effendi engages with Kant more than any other Western philosopher. He will end up mostly siding with Hume regarding the induction problem, while discarding Kant's understanding of causality. But coming from a rationalist tradition, Sabri will also have his differences with Hume. So he will criticize him on multiple aspects. And this is exactly the reason why he says at the end of his discussion, which we will unpack, that the truth lies in between Kant and Hume.
