Is There a Better Solution?
As a grad student I was interested in wind and solar energy, but it just seemed to me that the real technology development had already taken place. There were additional challenges beyond the simple supply meat demand problem with the energy transition that really drew me to geothermal as a solution there. Geothermal is a really just fits the glove like a hand in terms of balancing some of the limitations that a wind and solar system would be able to deliver relying on those two sources of energy.
