There were a group of monkeys living on some island in Japan and there were some potatoes. The monkeys would dig up the potatoes and eat them, but not like it because of the sand. And finally some of the younger monkeys, the children, just one day started to wash these potatoes in the water and then eat it. Over a period of time, eventually 99 monkeys were all doing this, washing their potatoes first and then eating them. Then one more monkey, the 100th monkey started to do it.
