The Importance of Time in Feedback Conversations
The desire for efficiency is the source of a lot of regret in feedback conversations. Without time to integrate on the criticism, I have time to ask questions or understand better what the person's perspective is. You lose the ability for that person to put it to good use. It actually suggests that it's sort of like all one thing and eaten at the same time.
