Who Has Student Debt?
Biden announced a plan to cancel $10,000 in student loan debt for everybody earning less than $125,000 a year. He says the policy will benefit disproportionately rich white people but also lower income graduates and people of color. "I think there's been a lot of misinformation in the public debate about sort of who has student debt," he said.
