Indian railway catering and tourism corporation, i r c t c, is a state run firm with a monopoly on online booking of train tickets. In a tender earlier, the firm had proposed appointing a consultant for adigital data monotization on rail passengers data. Had it been approved, would have helped the firm increase its revenue by more than 100 million dollars. So yes, that's a win. They were looking to make more money, and everybody got really pissed, and they said, never mind. Remember that raising awareness and complaining about these things sometimes can make a difference.
