Bonnie King's Testimony on the Killing of Howard Brooks
Bonnie King said she received instructions in the letters, phone calls and meetings with Ryan during cross examination. The defense attorney asked her if she had been instructed by the lawyers to look at the jury when she answers because she turns and looks at the jury to answer questions. So yeah, kind of that means yes. Part of her testimony was stricken from the record because it references the killing of Howard Brooks as well. That gets they cause a conference in chambers and the defense attorney says we're getting close to a mistrial here. They ask him if he remembered telling Miss King not to pinpoint anything at her upcoming trial and to say she didn't remember so that the state wouldn't trick you into
