Christopher Ryan: We're all trying to tell a story. I would say that the narrative that my work promotes pretty consistently is that human beings are not separate from biological reality. He says we have certain needs and expectations based upon our evolution, both biologically and socially. "My hope is that having this understanding will relieve unnecessary suffering"
