Chomsky - Is Slavery Ending?

Chomsky sees a certain value in criticizing things that might fit his narrative. In doing so, he is able to put aside the many issues that will be raised as a result. So on the one hand, he wants to say that slavery is ended, and that's a good thing. But at the same time, he says that industrialists were as bad as slave owners, and that hasn't gone away.
