The most common biblical image to talk about human mortality is that we come from the dust. How humans became capable of being creatures who could contain or receive the life of heaven and earth, or embody it in one place? I think that's an open question, because t biblical authors just simply don't give us the information that we wish we had about the physical processes involved. But for me, i think it's this conviction that humans are meant to be a combination of divine and human, of earth and heaven.
