The Dangers of Learning Rust

Rust is structured for you to think of it as dangerous. And also because it's there, I'm very reluctant to opt out of it. If there's no other way, I'll reach for the unsafe keyword and say like, okay, we're going to do some direct pointers stuff. But that's really a last resort in my book. It prevents you from shooting yourself on the foot rather than opting into it.
