How to Get a Torn Tenon Back
In 1848 two Chinese men arrived in San Francisco to try their luck as gold miners. The owner of a hardware store tried to charge them $20 for a torn tent and rotten pork but they were shocked at the price. One man decided to speak up, explaining what was going on before he was thrown out into the street by clerks.
