It's Time to Pass Off the Magic Flute

Mozart borrows standard musical devices to make a very important point with his music in these moments. At the end of this clip that we heard, the last portion where they all sing together, the text is oh, such a flute is worth more than gold and crayons for through it human happiness and contentment will be increased. And so it's some kind of Masonic, preachy language but there's this moment maybe you caught it in our first listen where the music feels like it almost stops or becomes suspended in time.
