The Mystery of King Arthur

Pottery from the 5th and 6th century AD so what's that about 700 years before Richard was alive? We're finding pottery that comes all away from Turkey and Greece and Tunisia in Africa. Tintagel is extraordinary we've got tons of pottery from there it's just such a weird sight. So maybe Geoffrey of Monmouth when he was writing his story of King Arthur maybe he knew that it was a really important place and maybe he decided to connect King Arthur with it or maybe there really was a story that said that King Arthur was around. There aren't very many writings that survive from that time. It's just word of mouth that manages to hang around for years
