Moral Debate

I think it's important people to understand, obviously you and I are sharing our differences because there are atheists and non-theists who don't believe in God and also reject your ethical worldview. And so this will get down to a crux of our disagreement about the nature of human beings and of morality. Like for example, if ethical descriptions are just expressions of emotional states, it doesn't seem to make very much sense of moral argument. So AJA addresses this in chapter seven of language, truth and logic which is kind of the place where the emotivist school of thought really got off the ground.
