In Christ We Don't Get What We Deserve
In Christ we don't get what we deserve. He took on that death that we deserved, the blame, the shame. This is incredible. As we get closer and closer to this, it's worth it to stop every so often and just recognize how bonkers in so many ways it is. In Nehemiah, you might have been incredibly bored. You might have said, I thought that we were done with the names. Why'd you go back to the names? Not A, because they're in the book of Nehemiah,. chapter 3, but B, because it reveals so much.
