Jason Wright has argued that actually we should stick with SETI with an S. Because he thinks that techno-signature research is too narrow, and a lot of what people in the SETI community are thinking really expansively about problems like communication. So, so we might see another transition, I don't know. If you're looking for technology, that is presumably a product of intelligence, but intelligence doesn't necessarily lead to technology. It is all sorts of intelligences in our own planet that don't produce any kind of tetanus signature in that sense.
