How to Practice the Extended Awe Method in Chronic Pain

We use the word a w e as an acronym, which is a three part steps of experiencing the awe method. We are pausing and we are going through the cycle of a breath and just allowing ourselves to be fully present without effort with that object that you value, appreciate and find amazing. A longer exhale in the diaphragm, simulates the vagus nerve, which takes us to a deeper state of rest and relaxation. And then together, we're sharing this moment of awe.
