The Role of Food Insecurity in Health Care

The United States Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as having access to healthy food and the ability to have balanced nutrition. There are different levels of this scale where throughout the questionnaire, there are asked questions that essentially get more severe in nature. And so the severity sort of content, the level of severity is captured to then kind of aggregate up to these scale scores.
