Rust is the fastest growing data tool, I believe. It has 13,000 GitHub stars. That's a good number of people using that project. So was it kind of an intense experience? Or how do you study enough languages by then to become comfortable? Well, yeah. The going from high level to low level, I think it makes natural sense. If you've learned it yourself, there's no professor who's telling me you learn your pointers. But Rust, I wouldn't say you should learn Rust as a first language. It would be really terrible because you need to put the terrible. Other languages also don't help you much.
