Donald Trump's campaign has spent many months attacking Rod DeSantis over his record in Florida. They've been interestingly attacking him from the left about votes he took about Medicare and Social Security when he was a congressman. For many primary voters, this cemented the idea that the former president is victim of the deep state. The two together, I think, are a fairly lethal combination.
