The Uncertainty of RCTs

There is no statistical difference but the lack of statistical significance is not the same thing as equivalence. The point estimates in these studies are all over the place and the confidence intervals here are huge. Overall this meta-analysis just paints a very messy picture with a ton of uncertainty. It's best to look at some of the individual trials because you do get a sense of sort of what specific vices might be shaping your practice clinically.
