The Difference Between Quarks and Leptons
Up and down quarks make up all of the universe protons and neutrons are made up of those just different combinations of them. Leptons are a whole new category, right? So they're electrons. Another one that's very famous is called the muon that is actually found in cosmic rays. And these two subtypes of particles, I'm going to spit another name for you: Fermions,. Now again, hadrons are collections of these fermions. But when we're talking about the very fundamental, the very fundamental has two things, fermions and bosons.
