As our telescopes improve, we might even be able to find larga moons around exo planets from back here. And that not only helps with pngota planet's mass, but we ca also look at how that moon's reflected light varies as a way of putting down more on that planet's day. After all, earth reflects sunlight quite brightly on to its moon. A lot of our weather and its astrnoical telltales shift with the lunar month and tides. Much as every object in space, will have a characteristic black body emission of heat radiation, every molecular type has characteristic spectrums too.
