What Jesus Is Doing Is Not Diminishing the Old Testament Law

In Matthew 5 verse 33, the first part of 34, Jesus says again you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, do not break your oath. That statement at all is a singular Greek word, holos. Now historically the church has looked for loopholes in regards to this particular verse because of how total it is. And I think that what Jesus is pointing us toward is calling us to ask where are we creating loophole.
