Sprinting is considered a glicolytic, anerobic effort. Most people should sprint between ten and 20 seconds for optimal benefits. The rest to work ratiois six to one. If you're taking ten seconds to perform your sprint, you're going to rest at least one minute in between sprints. So that's plenty of time to recalibrate, catch your breath, give your muscles and your energy systems a bit of recovery and then go blast another sprint.
