73. Silence in Therapy: What's the Story? (with Dr. Gene Combs)
Very Bad Therapy

How Did She Handle It When She Was Asking You Questions?
I don't remember her doing anything to try and make me feel more comfortable. It felt like she was just asking me questions. And I was struggling to answer them because I knew that she was going to respond in a way that I didn't like. She wouldn't sort of prompt me or in any way try in, she would just sit there and wait for me to say something. So we would just be sitting in silence for half an hour at a time. That's what made me kind of give up on therapy for a very long time.
