Boston Dynamics, five other robot manufacturers signed a pledge not to weaponize any of their robots. When it comes to the weaponization of robots, there are ways you can hard coat to not do things. You can make a fully commercial product intending only for commercial or educational or scientific uses and it can still end up in the hands of people who are using them for war.
