The Mises theory says we mimic others and learn what to want through others. It was discovered by this guy I mentioned before, René Girard. He built a body of work that basically codified this and explained it in a very deep way. And just like you mentioned Peter Teal before, the only investor in Facebook, one of the biggest reasons he invested in Facebook, because he was learning and understanding of a medic theory.
