The Power of Music in Pentecostal Circles
In Pentecostal circles, we were impacted by spirits and demons of every kind. In some churches that I was a part of, almost every Sunday, believers had to come to the altar to be purged. Over time this would take on the form of even trash cans. If you had a real big purging service, you would have trash buckets full where people would spit into those buckets and get the demons released from their experience. This was also known in some circles as a deliverance. So I've sat in many a service that looked like that.
