The Importance of Functional Training
I was coaching an athlete and she was going and seeing a PT. And the answer is always like one legged squats or something. For me, I feel like you should be able to do a bilateral squat properly before you move on to the one legged. Now, that being said, a lot of people can't do single leg squats. So if you're expecting them to do that before they even do bilateral movements, that's a little bit crazy. But there's so much more work you can actually do with a minibans. They really help activate those stabilizer muscles as opposed to saying, oh, let's just have you lift your body weight.
