"I think for me like i think what and yeah maybe this is just a commentary on my own personal journey um and sort of like doing work that focuses on you know anti-racism which means in turn that it focuses on racism and injustices and impressions" "It's really very easy in some instances to sort of categorize folks is like well these people are doing something wrong it's really bad sort of wholesale," he says. 'The more that you spend time with them the more you understand where it's coming from' He also talks about how we don't always look at our elders as who they actually were but can learn so much from their experiences.
