As a kid, i always thought i would be a doctor. In college, i didn't take a single science course. I avoided everything that in any way could be construed as scientific. So i ended up trying to take organic chemistry while taking polish and russian history courses,. And my director of graduate studies wouldn't let me do it. so i dropped out of my master's programme, and i just took premed courses. And from there, you know, i went on to medical school, and my career has been what it's been, unintentionally.
