In complexity there has to be this low level of unpredictability if there's too much then You get chaos or you get complete disorder. We know if the temperature goes too high we sweat If the temperature went too low we shiver and get goosebumps. So our bodies have Freedom to react in different ways and that freedom comes from this low level randomness It's called quenched disorder.
