The Role of Trees in Perennial Agroforestry
Trees on farms mostly for riparian buffers and occasionally some alley-cropping, but you know it's mostly like shelter belts and wind breaks. So with what you're looking at around the world, is that just people are planting trees to harvest fruit and nuts from or is it a multi-layered system like we might think of as a food forest? That's a very good question. It's a very broad bunch of things here in the US. Mostly we see the riparian buffer and wind break.
