Are You in Error Because You Don't Know the Scriptures?

Jesus was confronted with a logical conundrum by the sadducees. They wanted to know what would happen when all seven of his brothers died and were resurrected. Jesus replied, you are in error because you do not know the scriptures or the power of god at the resurrection. He's saying, you're creating false parimeters for your question that you're posing to me. There are so many things i don't understand about what jesus is having in this conversation.
