How to Regain Muscle Memory After Surgery
Eric Johnson: Once you've built muscle, it can then get rebuilt really quickly. He says we have the neural memory of all these motor patterns we have. And if you've grooved a neural pattern, those tracks are still there even if they're worn over. So he took 12 weeks to 16 weeks completely off from squatting except for some partials. After that, he started doing single submaximal singles every week and just letting them naturally progress upward.
