When you explain something to children, you have to really consider assumptions that you might not have to consider when talking to an adult. And the reason for that is that we're all a bit like children still. There are very few things in this life, ol this world, that any adult can be fully informed about without help. So it's enormously valuable for us to sort of think in a slightly richer and more honest way bout our own ignorance.
